Nearly there....

......in many different ways...but mainly in two important ways, one - I now have my gorgeous studio desk (see photo) and the studio is beginning to look how I imagined it :) and the secondly, I am nearly finished at the summer club then I get two glorious months off work :) :) :) I am going to drive my neighbours insain with the non-stop duh-duh-duh-duh of the sewing machine :)One week to go!!!! (and sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo counting!!)

NEW ARRIVAL!!

On Saturday we are going to pick up our new arrival......Introducing...Milo :) He's only 2 months old and exceptionally cute.....as you can see!

End of term in sight.....

The end of term is in sight!!! :) :) :) Just three more days to go (a mountain of paperwork later...) and I am free to sew sew sew sew sew!!! :) I cannot wiat. I am overdue a little holiday and some relaxation.

So this Friday evening the school had their annual end of term BBQ :) (see photo's) and it was great fun! Waaaaay too much Sangria, about 80 people (both students and teachers) and lots of yummy Catalan meat :) Yum! Yum!

No crafty or creative things to report as much as I wish I had....just a little update so you don't think I've forgotten you! Happy weekend everyone!

Exams....Exams...

Sorry I haven't been on here for while...

believe me, it's not my intention!

:) The day job is totally getting in the way!!! Goo old end of term exams taking u too much of my time! :(

My good friend Sarah back in the UK dropped me an email and told me to keep the blogs coming....so this one's for you hun! :) OH! and Etsy's the future babe!

Nothing much to report...unfortunately I haven't had any time to do any kind of crafty things :( Rubbish...Rubbish...Rubbish) but one more week of term to go and then I can sew to my hearts content! :)

Yesterday I went with the girls for a picnic in Vacarisis (about 15 mins away from me) and we got a beautiful day to enjoy! I have attached a photo of Lucy and Helen enjoying the stream :)

Char at this point had clearly had one too many glasses of vino and a little too much sun...she was sleeping on a rock! :)

Lots of making and creating to crack on with!!!

I am going back to the UK for July, and so making very good use of my time there and fitting in a few craft fairs as well :) So I have a lot of things to get making and preparing for it all so can take it back with me when I go to the UK in just over a weeks time for my friends wedding. One wood order is placed (the picture) and I am very excitied about making these lovely pieces into beautiful things to sell. My creative mind is going crazy and I can't wait to get my hands on it all.

I have managed to fit in a few extra slots of sewing this week before running to school to teach, which has definitley helped, but the pile is never ending....not that I'm complaing!! I love it this way!!!!

To top it all off the day job is getting busier and busier with looming end of year exams! :S I am sure I will be starting to feel the strain very soon!!!!

Oh and exciting news!!! I'm going to be an auntie again :) I am hoping for another suitably beautiful niece - as I already have two and they are both wonderful. I'll keep you posted on how mum and bump do over the coming months :)

Family

Not had much chnce to crack on....I have had the pleasure of my families company this weekend from Friday to Monday, and although I still haven't caught up with sleep and rest, I had such a lovely time with them :)

I took them into Barcelona on Saturday fr a mooch and some lunch and then we went to a resturant on Saturday night. On Sunday we went to Sitges (see pic) and t was gorgeously sunny! :)

Looking forward to haing the weekend off and hopefully cracking on with much needed sewing! :) I have some wondeful cushions to get on Etsy as well....so roll on the weekend!!!
