LOVELY FABRIC!!!!

I am inlove. With some fabric :) This is quite easy for me as fabric is magical stuff to me. It transforms into your imaginations greatest ideas :) I have bought these two gorgeous fabrics and they are really good quality...they feel divine!

I have already started making and creating - I can't actually stop myself!! I had to walk away from the sewing machine last night...actually this morning at 1:48am as I was struggling to see what I was doing, my eyes were so tired! :) So first thing this morning I cracked on again and look at my first two projects from this fabric! :) I have family coming over next weekend and I thought a few throw cushions on their beds would be a nice welcome! I am going to run up another union jack cushion so there are two of them. I just hope the sunshine comes out for my guests as at the moment it is warm but pretty cloudy and depressing...good old unpredictable Spring weather!

I am looking forward to a weekend ahead of sewing and creating :) :) :) and generally relaxing before next weekends guests and madness I am sure! Happy Friday everyone!!!!

Lovely Lovely Fabric!!

I have been to my local fabric shop...its like an Aladdin's cave for me :) Full of gorgeous fabics!!!
it is really reasonably priced as well...and very good quality fabrics.

I got some lovely pale pink gingham and another darker pale pink shade fabric and some 100% cotton white which is divine!

Updates coming soon...as I have been running up a gorgeous cushion (if I don't say so myself!!)

I've been off for a few days with flu :( but today although I have been coughing and snotting all over the laptop (sorry honey!) Busy...Busy....

I have been a busy bunny painting my studio (or spare room as the boyfriend calls it lol!) Nice and bright now it is finished...but it took some doing!!! Now just for my lovely new desk and shelves so I can get organised :) :) and more importantly creating!!!!

New Plaques....

After my bad news I have been very busy creating and doing things to help me relax and enjoy myself. Plus, I am pretty sure my Aunt would be proud! :)

Snow..? In March...? IN BARCELONA???

Crazy week..... and crazy weather to match!

It's been one of those weeks that has been crazy, very strange things have happened...and unfortunately most of them horrid. Firstly, we started with this mad snow shower that covered Catalunya and left a lot of our teachers stranded in Terrassa, and not able to go home to Barcelona, resulting in two of the teachers bunking up at ours! Fun but a little bit stressful!

Then I found out my auntie had passed away, something I was devastated about, and am taking one day at a time. But it has been a funny week because of all of these things. Ever since my aunts passing lots of strange but lovely things have been happening...just daft things like getting on a course that was practically impossible...and I am thanking her for this. I feel she is trying to send me signs. I take comfort in this. I think a relaxed and crafty weekend is needed...hopefully I will have lots to show you in a few days time!! :)

Mummy's Day 14th March...

So very soon it will be Mother's Day again (or Mummy's Day as I used to call it when I was small). I have been designing some new plaques for Mothers day....
